This page defines the licenses under which items on Plunexa are sold. These terms are incorporated into our Terms of Use. Purchasing an item grants you a license — not ownership of the item.
1. Key Concepts
- Item — the digital product you purchase (plugin, script, AI tool, theme, template, etc.)
- End Product — what you build using the item (e.g., a website for your company, a client's CRM installation, a SaaS application)
- One license = one End Product. Use in a second End Product requires a second license
2. Regular License
Use the item to create one End Product for yourself or for one client, where end users are not charged for the End Product.
You may:
- Use the item in one End Product (your own or one client's)
- Modify, customize, and combine the item with other works; the resulting End Product is still bound by this license
- Deploy the End Product on one production domain/installation (plus staging/dev copies)
- Transfer the license to your client for the End Product you built for them (the license then belongs to that project)
You may not:
- Sell the End Product to multiple customers (that requires an Extended License)
- Charge end users to access the End Product or its core functionality
- Redistribute the item's source files, as-is or modified, on any marketplace, repository, or bundle
- Use the item in more than one End Product
3. Extended License
Use the item to create one End Product that is sold to, or paid for by, multiple end users.
Everything permitted under the Regular License, plus:
- The End Product may be sold to multiple customers (e.g., a commercial application) or operate as a paid service (SaaS) where users are charged
Still not permitted:
- Redistributing or reselling the item's source files themselves, as-is or with superficial modifications
- Using the item in a product generator, template marketplace item, or any offering that competes with the original item
- More than one End Product per license
4. All Licenses — Common Terms
- Updates: licenses include item updates as described on the item page
- Support: support period per the item page; support is for the item, not for customizing your End Product
- Attribution: not required, but appreciated
- Copyright notices: must not be removed from source files
- Unauthorized use: use outside the license scope, or distribution of "nulled" copies, terminates the license automatically and may result in legal action
